4 Months Old

Brielle you are 4 months old....what are you up to...

First time eating cereal!



*you are 24in long and weigh 13 lbs 14 1/2 ounces..you are now in the 50th percentile for weight and height
*you turn your head towards any noise you hear and are so much more aware of your surroundings
*nursing is no longer your favorite time of day...you are much to busy for it and would rather look around to see what is happening around you
*you can almost roll over from your back to your tummy..not much longer
*you have rolled over from your tummy to your back (scared you a little ha)
*you sleep 11hours at night and take a 1hr 1/2 nap in the morning and a 2hr nap in the afternoon
*you are getting a little better at entertaining yourself
*you love to sit on our knees or on our legs when we are indian style and just move back and forth and throw your arms around
*you tried cereal for the first time and got angrey cause you couldn't get it down quick enough to satisfy you ha!

Me and B have been having so much fun at home now that she is so much more aware of her surrondings...today we played with her rattles and watched praise baby dvds...she really likes them but they only hold her attention for a little while. She is learning how to grab and loves to try to put her toys in her mouth. It's so cute when she finally does it cause she gets so excited as if she's getting to eat something! HAHA!

Here is something fun I found that I want Landon and I to try. It's called the great date experiment. A church in Arkansas came up with it, I looked over the first one and sounds like soooo much fun!!! I love this kind of stuff, Landon and I have read many relationship books and go to any and every sermon series we can whether it's at our church or not so this is right up our alley. It's hard with a new baby to make time for each other and when we do it's always the same old stuff, dinner and movie (there isn't much to do in Amarillo anyways). This past week was filled with may events. I started back at work but you can hardly call it that cause I'm only there Mon, wed, Fri 9 to noon. It's perfect cause I help Landon out by making a little money and I get some me time, (don't now if work is the place for that, rather be at the spa HA!) My sweet friend Tiffani sent me this super cute cookie bouquet (I didn't want to eat the cookies, they were to pretty) for my first day back, she understands that it can be hard going back becuase she has a baby boy of her own. The day went great and I'm enjoying working again, but I would never trade it for staying at home with my baby so the hours are perfect!



This past weekend was Brielle's 3 month photo shoot and we had alot of fun as always. My friend Khara and her sister do her pictures and they always do an amazing job, can't wait to see them, until the here are a couple I snuck in with my own camera....




Also this weekend we had Ashleigh's 18th birthday party and Brielle got passed around and around by the family, it was fun to get together with everyone...









We ended the weekend at Kharas for the superbowl and Briell met some new friends. I think she liked them, and she was really good too!

Show Us Your Life Fashion Tips

Kelly's Korner show us your life this week was fashion tips, well I love clothes and love to shop but it's hard after you have a baby!! What I love now are accessories! You can where them when big and prego to make you feel pretty or just to compliment an outfit! I really like the cute headbands that are out now with the feathers and flowers and jewels. Forever 21 is one of the best places I think to find headbands, jewelery and many other things because it is cute and so cheap! Dosn't get better than that.

3 months old

Brielle is 3 months old, lets see what your up to...


*you are wearing size 2 diapers
*you are trying to sit up alot these days and hate to be held like a baby
*your favorite thing to say is OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH! me and dad are so proud haha
*you are sleeping 10 hours a night and waking up to eat around 6 or 7 then falling back to sleep for about 2 more hours, you are such a great sleeper
*you still don't like your pacifier and I hope you never will, I don't want to break that habit : )
*I'm not sure what you weigh but we will find out at your next appointment

Last Christmas for the Year

well we finally celebrated our last Christmas for the year! Brielle came out pretty good. She got so many presents, but she was extra good for the 2 months she was here in 2009 so Santa was extra generous!HAHA! Landon and I decided not to get her anything but our other family members had a different idea......

Heros, Lita and 2 months old!

My brother in law Colton Johnson left for military training yesterday. Very sad filled day. He will be very missed, imagine the bravery you have to have to leave your family and friends to go do what you feel you were called to do. Not anyone can do that, I know I can't, but I'm glad there are people who are willing to fight for our country! We will miss you so very much Colt and we will see you in six months!

My mom finally returned home on sunday from Bogota Colombia her home town. Her Nephew got married and she decide to go the wedding and spend Christmas there cause it has been over 25 years since she had spent the Holidays with her family. Now we can have our last Christmas for the year! Brielle was sure happy for her return as you can see...




Brielle turned 2 months on 12-25, I'm a little late posting but better late than never. What have you been up to these days...




*you have gotton very good at holding that big head up (full of brains)and pushing up with your arms
*you sleep 7 hours at night which me and daddy really appreciate
*you weigh 12lbs and are in the 90th percentile in weight (the size of a 3 1/2 mon old) HaHa, what a chunk and 50th for height, your head is a little big they say :)
*you don't fall asleep at feedings anymore and you stay awake longer during the day
*you love putting your hands in your mouth now that you have a little more control in your arm movements
