Goodbye Boys

This past weekend we had to say goodbye to two of our boys, Cotlon went back to Iraq for hopefully only until November and we gave Dozer up for adoption but more on that later.

Last Thursday morning I had to work so Uncle Colt and Aunt Kitty got Brielle all to themselves!

He's gonna be a great daddy some day!

This picture just cracks me up!!!!

Oh my gosh Colt looks like a great big boy in this picture haha!

Kasey throwing a fit cause she wasn't getting any attention, typical...she's the baby in the family!

Farewell for now Colt, may God keep you safe while you're away! We love you very much!

We had decided to find Dozer another home. We just are not able to give him the attention he deserves. I'm not the kind of person that can have an outdoor dog, I think it's mean for people to leave their dogs in a back yard all day and then bring them in at night to sleep. What's the point of that, I think it's really sad when your pet isn't a part of the family.

Bless his heart but he was just too big, shed too much, ate too much, tore up our backyard and I could not keep him inside for long periods of time because he has bad gas! None of these things were his fault and he is a very sweet well behaved dog, I guess big dogs are not our thing and we like a clean well put together home and backyard.

We found the perfect family for him, they have had 2 rotties before and have a huge house with doggie doors and the husband is home all day and works in his shop. Their kids are grown so their dogs have become their babies. The wife used to work for SPCA so I know he is going to the perfect home! This is Dozers new sister. I'm so happy for him and us!

That was such a hard decision, Me and Landon no longer like being adults and having to choose to do these types of things!

Our last picture with our sweet boy, We love you Dozer very much and can't wait to see you again! God blessed us with a sweet big dog and we will forever hold Rotties close to our hearts. If the right people breed them and bring them up they are great big babies!

Goodbye my Baby Winky!

TEXAS!

Eating a little Chic Fil A while waiting on dad to get done with golf. I love my little outings with my girl!

small fit, "no more pictures mom! I just want to eat!"

Look how excited she is....she just saw a boy, haha

A friend of mine at work gave us tickets to go see texas! I love that play no matter how many times I've seen it. We had the best seats in the house, Brielle did so well except for all the talking she did...she had to point out the hats, horse, flag, lights she thought were balloons and everything else on stage through the whole performance. So during intermission we moved to the far right so she could talk as much as she liked, She sat through two hours of it no problem, that girl loves music!

I look like a guido in this picture, I look super tan!

Sweet little grin, She's thinking this was a nice surprise! Every time she saw a horse she would squeal and get so excited and just keep saying "horsey! horsey!" We didn't want her to disturb the people around us but everyone just kept laughing at how excited she'd get

Round of applause!

My little baby doll!

We changed into our PJ's for the ride home but we had to sit in the tractor before we left

The Market

This past week my mom wanted me to drive her literally to the other end of town (kinda scary over there I'd have to say) to a very different supermarket than we are used to. I loved it though, when we were little we used to walk across town and go to these types of places all the time. They had so many different things it felt like we were in a different country, I mean there was a whole isle of just different types of dried mushrooms, wish I knew how to cook half of what I saw, wish I knew what half of what I saw was haha.

Aloe Vera leaves and Cactus leaves...weird

What is all this stuff and why does it smell so funny in here mom!

Bamboo shoots

I have no idea what this is, but they had it in a blue bell freezer, That ain't no ice cream!

GROSS! Chicken feet with the bone in.....and toe nails ugh!! I can hardly look at this picture!

Oh that's why it smells so funny in here!

Look at those huge baskets, the metal containers to the right of them are what my abuelito used to carry his lunch in to work, it has different compartments for the different foods you want to take along. They had some HUGE pots too that I have only seen on the discovery channel that people use in the jungle to feed their tribes, it's crazy to think that people still cook like that right here!

While we were there we had to make our way over to visit my sister!

This is what I scored, Yucca root(tastes kinda like potato and is cooked the same too, Brielle loved it) Shrimp flavored chips(my mom use to buy us these when we were little and I love them, they are better than they sound) some mexican candy, banana chips and best of all Mamonsillos! I have not had those since we were sitting on the beach in Cartagena Colombia 15 years ago! It's just a fruit, you peel off the outside and eat the fruit except for the big seed inside. I tell ya though those things will stain your clothes forever with a weird gray color.
Landon though I was weird for being so excited about all my stuff but hey he married a Colombian so this is what he can expect from time to time and yes I made him try it all!

And last we had an accident this week, what a bloody mess.....of lipstick that is!

T-Ball

I don't even know, if I was Neely I'd bite him! But she loves him the most for some reason.

Pound it! or Bump it! Aunt Kaytie taught her that and she loves to do that with anyone she meets!

Playing with the train at Hastings, we needed some new books

Woo hoo Jackpot! Do you see the American Eskimo book I found, I just had to get it, I'll never find another one because that breed of dog isn't very popular. Oh and it's the sweetest little book about how parents love their children so very much!

She's like "hey that looks like NEENEE aka Neely" ha!

I forgot to post about the sweet little dove I found. Brielle and I were on our way to the mall when I almost ran over the poor bird, he was sitting right up against the curve and looked scared as could be. I had to stop and take him home, I couldn't bare to leave him on that hot pavement in 100 degree weather, I would have worried about him for days, the first thing he did when we got home was take a big gulp of cold water, bless his heart! He is doing much better now and hopping around more, still has that broken leg though.

Look what Landon just had to buy Brielle! She's pretty darn good actually and has always hit the ball and not the T, impressive if I do say so myself!

See how close she got to the T but didn't hit it! I'm a proud mommy!

She decided to try it with a tennis ball, I love this pic cause of how Neely was just waiting to catch it, the perfect game for those two to play!

She thinks she's sooo funny scattering all the recyclables around!

Little booger picking my shashoos aka flowers

My agility dog!
