Little Family Easter

After everyone headed out a couple of us relaxed for a bit.

Then we let B open her gift from her Aunt Sasha.
I tell ya I was not this thoughtful as a high school kid,
and I could care less about kids, but Sasha loves my
babies so much! She's just the best and is always
sending them little surprises for every holiday!
I'm very proud of the person my cousin is and growing up to be!

I loved seeing his name on his very own mail!

I DIED when I saw that she got these for Hason ! I've been wanting some
so bad.  Sasha's a fashionista so she knows how important clothes are!

Brielle enjoyed coloring her chick and loved even more that
it was a puzzle, that girl loves her puzzles!

Beautiful, I was impressed that she colored the top and bottom
of the shell the same color. She's getting better and
better at coloring.

It was a beautiful day for dying Easter eggs outside.
I was excited I had tablets left from last year,
saved us 4 bucks not having to buy a new kit haha!
I have become so cheap when it comes to some things.

Anytime Landon's doing something or thinking hard
he get this serious face, I'm gonna get him some botox
to stop those frown lines for sure haha!
He doesn't even notice he does it.

Landon pointed out that B was wearing the same outfit last
last year to dye eggs in haha.

2013

Easter eggs 2012, a little more of a round baby face.

Apparently I grew up very deprived cause sometimes we got Easter baskets and sometimes we didn't.  None of us believed the Easter bunny was real, we just had fun pretending.  But not Landon! He was confused why I didn't set her stuff out Easter morning for her to find, gosh darn it, this isn't Christmas and why the heck would we start that tradition when every Easter Sunday is going to be filled with us all rushing to get to church early to get seats.  I don't think that's a good idea, I don't like telling her that the Easter bunny left her this either but whatever, I went with it. I swear, with this holiday stuff I'm so stunned sometimes at the fact that I don't know how to do it right or how other family's traditionally do it I feel as if I grew up in Colombia! It's also funny to me that Landon's the one that has to tell me how it's done, it's normally the other way around ha!!!  Landon says my family celebrated Christmas and Easter all wrong lol. (we opened all our gifts on Christmas eve and didn't have Santa gifts in the morning, we still turned out somewhat normal!)
I just say my sisters and I weren't that stupid to fall for fake people and animals!

Any who here is her Easter basket from mom and dad  the Easter Bunny.
She got two Easter books about the true meaning of Easter and some
Sophia The First toys and a Sophia T-shirt.

Line um up!

We had a beautiful Easter and can't believe that next year we will have
a 8 month old sweet baby boy aaahhhhh! I'm so excited and feel so blessed!
Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice and dying for us so that we can live forever with you!

Easter Sunday

We had a wonderful Easter service at church on Sunday, then
we headed home for lunch and Brielle enjoyed opening her gifts from
all the grandparents.

Kaytie really enjoyed the thought of us getting a holiday hippo for
our front yard at Christmas time to which I denied that idea so she
got Brielle a hippo of her own, we couldn't say no to that.

 '

A Cars Easter book! Doesn't get any better than that lol.

I made sure to make time for just pictures before everyone scattered!

Don't you loooove how we all almost wore coral and it wasn't even planned.
Well I obviously planned it that way for my little family but
had no idea Teresa and Kaytie would match us as well!

Can you see my outie! Gross!

Love of my life!

And she was off, I filled her eggs with Dora stickers and
Cars balloons.

Ok so we like to joke that Brielle is the scholastic one
and Hason will be the athletic (coordinated) one.
This is how B takes off when running baahaa! She always shrugs her
shoulders up by her ears but I've never noticed the leg thing before ha!
Can you see why we say that now, bless her heart!

Gannpa taught B a new trick, smashing confetti Easter eggs
on his head as hard as she could.

He got her back though.

My dreamsicle trifle cake for dessert.

We discovered that Neely loves playing with balloons
and is pretty darn good at it! We had to stop her after she
popped to many balloons.

It was way to short of visit but feel blessed to have gotten to spend it with you guys!
Nothing more fun than having family in town!

Easter Weekend 2013 Part 2

After the festival Brielle wanted to show everyone the aquarium pet store.

I want this fish! He matches my decor!

Ever since we went to Oklahoma as a family back in 2010 we have a long
running joke about Randy.  He always had a cooler on that trip filled with
ice cold water.  No matter if we had been on the road for 3 hours and stopped
or if we had just left the mall and driven down the street  to eat he'd
always without fail go to the trunk and ask if any wanted a "cold" water.

It was just  funny to us cause we obviously knew they were "cold"
but he liked to remind us and no we don't need a water you literally gave
us one at our last stop 5 minutes ago lol.  Bless his heart cause I don't think
he knows we  make fun of him every time he asks! Oh how we love Gannpa,
he keeps us laughing all day long!

Brielle got a goodie bag and pulled out two toys and told
me "These are for Hason mom"
Melts my heart the sweetness that comes out of her sometimes!
She's already always thinking of him!

None the three of them had been to the Gaylord so
we took a tour around there.  It's our go to place when
family's in town I guess.

Then we headed to downtown Main Street in Grapevine to shop,
check out a glass blowing studio and eat.

That's an awesome license plate cover, if you can't read it, it says
"I love my American Eskimo"
I didn't even notice it, Landon did and hated himself for it ha.

We stopped at one of our fav burger places Jakes.

The service was so great.  Apparently they made two batches of fried
pickles but we had only ordered one, they gave us the other for free
anyways.  Kaytie's burger came out a few minutes after the rest of
ours and they didn't make them pay for that either.  That's good
customer service there!

We stopped at a small feed store to see the baby chicks,
we couldn't get over this cat all snuggled up with them.
(I didn't realize B was kinda choking the poor little guy)

Brielle saw the chicks and run up to pet them.
Then the cat woke up and stretched out one leg and
I said "Brielle you can pet the kitty too"
She looked at him for a minute then jumped up and yelled
"WHAAAT there's a cat too!!!" in the sweetest most high
pitched excited voice ever!  We all died laughing  and wish
we had the video camera on.  We totally thought she noticed
the cat but obviously she was taken by surprise.

We found the most delectable popsicle shop.  Everything was
made fresh with real fruit and organic!

Then here comes Brielle around the corner with a bouquet of flowers for me!
I just got flowers last week and now more!!!
I just love that husband of mine, He loves us more than life itself
and takes such good care of his girls.
I don't know what I would do without him!

I got the Guava snow cone, isn't the little oriental rice box
it comes in so cute.  Yummy!
(everybody made fun of how I said guava, apparently I don't
know how to say it in English so I asked in Spanish lol)

Naturally!

Then we made a quick stop at the mall because Teresa wanted
to get some new flats.  But who needs flats when the coach store
is having 65% off!!! If you don't know Teresa this woman is obsessed
with coach handbags!!! She said it wouldn't hurt to stop and look, yeah right
just look haha!  Coach isn't my thing so Landon was in the clear, good
thing to because they had tons of beautiful colors and cute styles I thought.
Randy on the other hand...ended up buying all 3 girls a handbag since
they were such a good deal! Teresa was texting Ashleigh pictures back and
fourth so she could pick one out and Kaytie got a really cute black one.
It made me happy to see them so happy, like little kids they were!
They got 3 bags originally $900 for just over $300.
Wish my favorite purse store had sales!!!

They tired to go back Sunday to get more but the mall
was closed. I told them they'd just have to move here!
