School is out! Party time!

School is out so that means party!  Ok really though, that means sleeping in! YAY.  I just ADORE how Brielle sleeps with her little hands together under her cheek, just like princess.  So beautiful.
I'm happy to have my baby home in the mornings.

But sometimes she needs her own space from her little bothersome brother.  Bless his heart, he just sits outside her door quietly looking at books waiting for her to come out.

He's started putting his sippys in the most random places haha

And that's how he drinks it.  Silly boy.

What else do you do when school is out.  Bake healthy muffins of course!

And build Castles with your Lita.  My moms so creative.

Play time!

When it's too rainy or hot outside we hit up the gym for open play on Thursdays and Fridays.  You can really get a good little workout riding stick horses I tell ya.

With the heat and the fact that Brielle is so tender headed and I hate fixing any one's hair especially mine I decided to cut her hair.  I asked her of course and made sure it was something she wanted to and she was excited.

Went ahead and got Hase done too (in the prissy girl store of course ha)

The lady was so incredibly slow.  He was in that seat for more than 20 minutes.  She said he was the most well behaved little boy she's ever had!  He was too, I was so proud of him.  She got to see a little of the real Hason when we left and I wouldn't buy him 18 suckers.

So long and so beautiful, but oh so tangly

I think she looks younger with shorter hair and I sure like that part.

After your haircut you get to play the Olaf.

She obviously liked that.

We all have our moments.  The fighting is worse cause they are not used to being around each other so much but I am Lovin summer time with my babies.

Landon's Birthday and Kaytie's Engagement!

Landon turned 31 this year.  Kinda sad cause we wish we could go back to his 30th Birthday... that was awesome!! (caught him with his mouth full ha)  I ordered him a pizza just for himself for dinner.  The rest of us had our usual protein, sweet potatoes and greens.

Brielle made this a school for Landon for fathers day.  I thought it was so sweet they went ahead and did that since school would obviously not be in session for that occasion.  These little things always mean so much to me.

I also let B pick out a slice of chocolate cake for him at the grocery store.  You should have seen the massive fit Hason threw when Brielle carried the cake outta the store and not him.  Gotta love the terrible 1 1/2's

One of the moms at Brielle's school hosted an end of year party for the kiddos.  She rented a bounce house, ordered pizza and had cupcakes.

There dog was the sweetest! I just love big dogs cause they never grow up.  She just kept jumping in that darn bounce house with the kids haha.

Not only was it Landon's bday on the 21st but it was these guy's one year anniversary and Zac PROPOSED!!!  It makes me tear up just typing that.  We are elated!!!!!!!!!!  They both look just stunning in their engagement pics and her ring.... well it's to die for!  What a blessing!

Last Day of School

My honey bear had her last day of preschool ever this year.  It hurts to type that.  We have had so much rain lately they were lucky to have one day of sun for their scheduled water day....

Her class had a mini program where they each got up and said their favorite bible story and why, then they sang a song.  I would have been scared to death to do that in front of all those people.  All the kids did great, I think it's good for them to start early getting up in front of people and speaking publicly. Brielle's favorite was Adam and Eve because you learn there are consequences when you don't listen.

What a difference a 8 months makes

Since she was technically in their kindergarten class and not preschool, she had a kindergarten graduation.

It wasn't till I picked her up after school for the very last time in this building that it hit me.  I stood there and watched her and let it sink in.  Two years in this school flew by.  I remember interviewing them when I as pregnant with Hason.  Crazy!  You think your life is passing before your eyes, wait till you have kids, you and everyone else around you ages at incredibly speeds it seems.

Last time walking down this hall.  Oh I cried.  Next time it will be me and Hason walking in here.  I can't even believe that!  He didn't even exist when I first walked in the is place.  I was so grateful to all the teachers here.  Not only did Brielle learn great social skills and learned how to read and write but she learned more about Jesus here than she has at church.  I'm incredibly happy about that and very sad about her going to public school.  I will be sure to tell her public school teacher that if she is a Christian I have no problem with her talking to my kid about Jesus.

What a blessing this place has been.  I am so incredibly proud of my baby.  She is very responsible, kind and smart.  She works hard and is a bit of a perfectionist and wants to always do her best.  She's a great all around easy kid.  We couldn't ask for more.
