We spent our last days with Kaytie decorating for Christmas, playing on the computer (of course) and gushing over our dogs.
Sometimes they might fight but that's what best friends do sometimes.
They always make up though!

Me and Kaytie were craving some comfort food so I decided Frito pies sounded awesome. I told her Landon was gonna flip to see this for dinner as opposed to "healthy stuff" like quinoa and tilapia.
I feel guilty not cooking something for my family with at least a little bit of nutritional value, so I chopped up some carrots, celery, yellow squash, green squash and garlic to mix into the chili. I also used ground turkey.
and a side of roasted broccoli to make myself feel better.
With Kayties help on the seasoning it turned out sooooooo good and fairly healthy!!!!
You couldn't even taste the veggies. Not bad for my first attempt at a Frito pie!
