Our city has a lot of fun family events all the time it seems, we live in a smaller city (about half the size of Amarillo) so these things are never overly crowded which is nice too.
This one was called the Red, White and Blue Festival. Just a bunch of food, games and best of all Fireworks! We parked at the school by our house and a bus shuttled us to the lake which is only about 10 minutes away.
Brielle was super excited about her first bus ride, I guess technically it was Hason's first too.

Brielle won lots of great prizes in the kids zone.

My parents joined us, I'm sooo happy we live near each other!
It was a beautiful night and the BEST fireworks show any of us have ever seen!
Come on!!! Don't you remember the KIOWA firework show last year?!?!
