Music in the Park

I can't say enough about how much I love the little city we live in.  Landon spent a lot of his time researching, driving around and studying all the cities in Dallas, he took good care of us by picking Flower Mound.  It's small but we still have a lot to do and we are close to other bigger cities if we want to venture out.  They always have family events planned which I love and most are free.  You know those constructions signs that light up and tell you that there are lanes closed or to slow down or what not....well we are so small that they will put a couple of those up on the main streets giving announcements about upcoming events or if an event has been canceled.  So cute :)

 

On this particular Saturday they hosted a kid fish.  The had loaded the pond up with tons of fish.  It was a free even and they even provided the poles and bait if you needed it.

I didn't get to go but I was told that even with the lake stocked up...only one kid caught a fish..oh and one lucky kid caught a turtle haha.

Another fun event is music in the park, we love going to this.

 

We packed up our treats and had the best time.

 

Brielle loves finding other kids to play with, she had a blast playing tag and bubbles with the little girl next to us.
