So on New Years Eve we head to Amarillo to celebrate Christmas with Landon's side of the family. Lucky us we had travel buddies while on the road. Landon's cousin Trent and his fam left at the same time, it was nice since the weather wasn't the best to have them near in case we needed them and vice versa!
We made it to Gigi and Gannpa's house safely. She had a few nick nacks for us when we got there. We thought about going out with friends but it was just to cold and risky with the snow on the ground.
The next day was D Day!!! Dillard's epic New Years Day Sale! I can't even begin to explain how much busier the Amarillo Dillard's was than the one I normally go to in Dallas. It was unbearable, I walked in and walked out of that shoe department, that says a lot cause I don't mind crowds or digging for deals. I didn't need shoes that bad.
There were a couple of racks upstairs we were able to get our hands on.
I scored this little number and can't wait to wear it this summer!
The boys were sweet and patient and watched the kids at the playground while we shopped.
What a good uncle....
That evening around 5ish Teresa, Lori and I decided to go back to the sale and I'm glad we did. It didn't even look like the shoe department had been touched! There were so many shoes still left. Afterwards we celebrated our shoe success with dinner and cocktails.
The next morning I took the kids over to my dear friend Kandi's house to play. It was so nice getting to catch up with her. We have so much in common!
Her baby girl looks just like her while her older daughter looks like daddy.
She was brave and let the kiddos do glitter tattoos. There was glitter all over her beautiful house.
Hason just ate and drank all their food :)
Back home they started a mad game of Twister.

Landon says Brielle put all this on and said "look I'm mom" : / I'm sure he had something to do with that.
