Gelato, way better than frozen yogurt in my opinion!
My cousin Natalie was in town visiting so we took advantage of the nice weather and had girl talk on the patio over ice cream/gelato.
Who always gets injured during these shenanigans... well the dad of course.
Thought I'd try something new with my scarf. Plus I didn't want to fix my hair.
Roanoke has a little main street celebration every fall and it's one of my favorite things to do. It's all free and instead of having to eat expensive food truck hot dogs you can actually sit on the patio at one of the many real restaurants all along main street.

We ate at this great burger place and look at this cute receipt. Was the checkout girl hitting on my man?
Flower Mound food truck day... we ended up only staying long enough for the kids to play because it was hot and the lines were long and the food was super pricey for what you get. I though food truck food was cheap?!
Still warm enough to swim even late in the season.
Boy do I love the Ft Worth Zoo.

Every time we go in this bird atrium it makes me want another bird so bad!
