The Day You Were Born

THE DAY YOU WERE BORN THE WORLD MADE ROOM FOR A LITTLE MORE FANCY!

Brielle, October 25, 2009 was the day your dada and I received our greatest blessing. We love you with all our hearts and you bring us so much joy!

Our biggest dream for you is that you will love the Lord with all your heart, and that you seek a relationship with him.

Second with constantly pray for your future husband and friends, they will be a big influence on you no matter what we teach you, we know that God will bless you with good people in your life!

Last we want you to learn how to manage money! Sounds funny we know but it's soooo important, we pray the you will always treat you possessions and money as God's not yours and that you don't get into predicaments trying to impress and keep up with others. Your momma and dada are great shoppers I must say, and I will show you how make your own nice things and how buy expensive things for half the price! Your dad is the smartest when it comes to money so listen when he teaches you!


We also pray that you will be a compassionate person who cares about others, that you cherish everything you have from material things to relationships, that you never feel like you are owed anything but feel blessed to have what you have. I pray you always feel that you are enough, that you are smart and that you are beautiful!


What are you up to these days
*you are talking a lot, putting together 3 and 4 word sentences.

*you have started singing, your favorite songs to sing on your own are: 5 little monkeys,The ABC song, The Happy Birthday song, you even busted out with Jesus loves me the other day!

*you still sleep 2 to 2 1/2 hrs in the afternoon, normally from 2 to 4:30

*you have a very sweet and caring spirit and it's starting to shine through when you play with your friends.

*you're are really good about sharing, I picked you up from the church nursery on Sunday and the first thing you said to me was "I shared" ha! (you did bite a kid for the first time last week, we'll have to keep an eye on that...I think it was an accident, you've never been a biter)

*you love playing with and taking care of your babies

*you will say your abc's with only skipping a couple of letters here and there. You don't pronounce every letter right yet but it's so cute to hear

*Still in size 4 diapers...we attempted potty training 2 months ago and we are going to go hard here in November cause you are so ready now, the other day you said "pee pee in the potty" (we hadn't mentioned potty's in about 2 months) and I didn't rush to get you on quick enough and you peed on the floor. Regardless of the mess, it was my fault, I was so excited you told me when you had to go!

*you just eat and eat and eat! I like to make you a veggie soup with quinoa, squash, sweet potato, celery, spinach and broccoli and you just eat it up. Puts my mind at ease that you are getting so much good food in one feeding!

*You wear 2T clothing

*Not sure what you weigh or how tall you are, we have your Dr.s appt in a couple of weeks so I'll write it down then.

*You've only been sick 4 times in 2 years! We thank God for that!
