A Morning with My Girl

I love my mornings because I get to wake up to this sweet girl who happened to bring me yogurt in bed on this particular day!  Her routine is get up, potty, brush her teeth, get a yogurt and a string cheese.  Sometimes I worry that she eats to much cheese but maybe one string cheese a day isn't so bad.

And lets not forget this sweet pup.  Love my littlest Eskimo.

Brielle and I decided to make some Popsicles since it was going to be getting hot outside.

She's a joy to have help,  such a great age for this kind of stuff!

I can eat some mom!

We made raspberry peach and blueberry banana Popsicles.

I also froze grapes on a stick...easy great snack to hold her over when she wants something to eat but dinner or lunch is about to be served.

Food coloring in vinegar and backing soda make an awesome distraction and science experiment!

Brielle enjoyed! I thought it was pretty cool too!

Even after you dropped the vinegar in you could go back and drop some more in the same spot and it would fizz all over again....I loved that cause I was expecting her to be done with it once all the backing soda was colored but it was never ending fun for her.

Caught this picture of Daddy telling Brielle the ways of life.  He said "Brielle you have to listen to your mother and father, you have the best mother and father and they love you very much and know whats best for you."  " You also have the best papa Lou and Lita, and we love you very much but you've got to listen" I thought that was so sweet and she listened very intently hehe! Maybe daddy's noticed that she can be a handful sometimes with this new big girl attitude she's got going on.  Or maybe it's that they bicker  a lot cause a 75 year old man is a lot like a 3 year old little kid lol!  I don't know why I laugh about it...some day's I think I'm going to go nuts with the both of them following me around asking me nonsense questions all day.  They will both also start talking to me at the same time and just go on and on and not care if the other one is talking as well.  All I can do is laugh and ignore them both ha!

Little kids in their underwear is about the cutest thing ever!

Landon found a turtle in our pool filter the other day and B just loved her new Tuck (wonder pets)

He was so cute, we kept him in her water table for a couple days then let him go so he could eat. What the heck am I supposed to do with a turtle anyways.

Busy Bee or Nesting?

I've been very busy the past week or so.  I can't seem to sit still and I have lots of energy and have needed not a single nap!  Nesting I guess? On my list of things to do was re-caulking the bathtubs.  They looked horrible and it's been bothering me for a long time.

Embarrassing to show you this but then again we've only lived here 8 months so it wasn't our doing...Nasty people!

Doesn't that look 100 times better!

I was pretty proud of myself : )

I also got real serious about getting Hason's room done, who knows how long this boost of energy will last and I needed to take advantage of it!  So I did the stripe ceilings all by myself...a bit of a sore neck the next day but well worth it to have it all done!

Landon keeps telling me to sit down, relax, nap and watch tv all day..........................

My honey bear off to Lunch Bunch, she loves that time to herself with her friends and I love having time to get things done in a quick and efficient manner!
(even though she got in trouble last week for hitting her favorite friend Addy)

Our poor little Eskimo has been panting up a storm lately.  They say her fur is made to keep her insulated whether it be in the winter from he cold or summer from the heat.  I don't know if I believe that.  I've been wanting to shave her but wanted to wait  till closer to baby time so I wouldn't have to do it twice and besides her hair drives me nuts sometimes.  Here she is so unsuspecting of what's about to happen to her lol. Yes she sleeps like this a lot.

Poor little white fluff.

We have a groomers here that lets you do it yourself.  Normally I'm charged about $40 to have her done.  I did it myself for $10!!!

Before.........

After.......

So all the fluff on the table is only a bit of what I shaved off and she wasn't even that fluffy!  I had already brushed the table off twice!! I could have made another Eskimo ha!

Memorial Day Weekend 2013

Landon's mom and sister spent Memorial Day weekend with us and we were so happy to have them here!
We started with some eating and shopping at the Shops of Highland Village

My goodness Kaytie and Juquita got the best salad.

My honey bear found me a flower.

It was a successful day!  I can't bring myself to buy maternity clothes...I actually haven't bought anything this pregnancy and I only really wear maternity jeans my regular shirts and dresses...I'd like a pair of shorts since I only have one pair but hopefully I can hold off.
(Getting dressed sometimes is a bit of a challenge and a small workout.  With that said I didn't' realize I looked just like Shamu after putting this outfit together, but it wasn't worth the effort to change, I'm sure people had some comments lol, that husband of mine sure did)

We all decided on an easy going weekend spent cooking out by the pool.

I made everyone fancy drinks.....Mine wasn't as fun as everyone else's.
How do you like Landon's in his "manly" glass.

My super hot sister in law! Come and get'er boys lol!

My beautiful mother in law\

Last pregnancy I outgrew my maternity swimsuits towards the end so when I found this beauty (originally like $120 but on sale on zulilly for $40!!!) I ordered it big to make sure that didn't' happen.  I think I over shot a bit haha.  I got a large, small or medium would have probably been just fine..oops.

I made a frozen fruit pie perfect for the hot evening.

We grilled some chicken burgers.

Look how pretty Landon arranged the pineapples..........

Oops...forgot about the others on the grill, who likes crispy??

Finally Kaytles got a new car!! It's super adorb and one of our favorite colors Charcoal!!

Thanks for driving here and spending the weekend with us you guys! We loved it!

Sasha's Graduation Party

My family was in town last weekend to celebrate my cousin Sasha's upcoming high school graduation.  She's the last of us to graduate high school, kinda sad.  I made her a money vase, way more fun than a card right  :)

We ate at our favorite Colombian restaurant of course.

It seems we always get set by the window that has red lights..makes for bad pictures.

CONGRADUATIONS Sasha! So proud of you! Nice Derrick.

Colombian sausage.....sooo good!

We've never stayed late enough for Brielle to enjoy the dance party but this time we thought we'd push the bedtime.  She LOVED getting to dance and wanted a turn with everyone!

Dawey of course had to stop at the huge flea market in Arlington to pick up some bikes to refurbish and sale.  We couldn't stop laughing at how many of those suckers he fit on top of that little ole car!

Sasha made my mom the cutest arrangement for her flowers.

Every Sonic needs a playground...we will have to stop at this particular one more often!

The Thomas's are here almost every weekend it seems...can you people just move here already?  We miss you!
