Ballet and Carlos

In the fall we dropped Brielle from her gymnastics...she started preschool and Hason was brand new I knew I couldn't handle one more thing to keep up with.  This semester I have life a little more under control so we put her in dance.  She was sooo incredibly excited and so was I! Every momma dreams of her little girl in a ballerina tutu!  It does irk me a little at how expensive it is and the cost of a costume for one performance, kinda a waste...but it's for her happiness so I'll deal with it.  I find myself getting stressed trying to figure out what to enroll her in.  We do not want to do everything...maybe on extra curricular activity a semester. How do you decide which one?  How do you balance that and family time.  I know she loves dance and gymnastics and I know she'd love to try softball and soccer too.  I guess we may try a different thing each semester and see what she likes best, it's hard right now cause she loves it all haha!

My heart can't take all this cuteness!!

I'm so proud!
One thing that makes me love dance more than gymnastics (besides that it's not as strenuous on your body) it that she can wear BOWS!!! and they don't fall outta her hair from all that tumbling and somersaults  :)
I can count on one hand the number of times this girl has left the house without a bow in her short 4 years.

This little man of mine can't keep his hands to himself.  He's always grabbing and pinching me and his "snacks" which he has bruised up by the way.

Ouch and it hurts!

So Landon and I are fans of the Hangover.....I came up with this genius idea because sometimes I just can't help myself and I love to do things that make my husband think I'm the coolest wife ever lol.

 Not at the table Carlos!

Finally A Church Home!

Sweet boy steals my heart away every single day!

I made this for my sister cause I knew she would just die over his outfit.

We love to be outside on beautiful days...on this particular day we had a little soccer tournament...

We have finally decided on a church home...Valley Creek.  Feels so good to be able to say that! Our Mayor also goes there and he declared this year the "year of the Bible in Flower Mound," how cool is that!  Over and over we are reassured that we picked a great city for our children to grow up in. We haven't been to church since before Hason was born.  My mom kept the kids (We aren't quite ready to bring them to church with all this flu stuff just yet) so Landon and I could go. It will be our Saturday night ritual.
Another wonderful thing about going to church...I get to put on real clothes and makeup, which hardly happens now a days, I feel like all my cute clothes are wasting away and collecting dust!

Afterwards Landon and I had a mini date night, we had some good laughs.  My heart seriously skips a beat for him at least once a day everyday even 14 years later.

Raspberry cream soda...goodness it was so good! I got 3 refills haha.

When we picked the kids up from my moms the next day she said that Hason had huge blow out and apparently I forgot to pack extra clothes. Sooooo she put him in my sister Sherry Ann's dress from when she was a baby baaaahaaa! She was nervous Landon would be mad but all he said was you gotta do what you gotta do.  Hase is going to hate me when I show his future wife...and maybe friends.  He didn't seen to mind in the  moment :)

ICE The Nutcracker!v

I love having my family here with me!

Brielle got to spend some much needed quality time with her Uncle Colt, enjoying donuts and a movie.

Sweet Abner loves basking in the sun, poor baby he's always cold!

Colt and Kasey make good house guests cause she does my dishes and Colt folded the laundry! :)

Mommy's been dying to see Ice and Colt and Kasey have never been, I was so excited for them to see it! We took Brielle last year during the day...this year we went at night, now that's the time to go because the place lights up so beautifully!

Gorgeous!

Colt and those roasted nuts, he can't say no.

This is are really  nice place...they have neck napkins...(Marcus Johns on Vine, hilarious!)

We went the very last night before it closed down, there was hardly a crowd unlike last time.  In the future we will always wait till the last few days to go.

We got to slide as much as we wanted since there wasn't really a line.

If you've never been it's a real treat!

Magic Time Machine

On New Years we took B to the Magic Time Machine for dinner...too bad they didn't have any princess's.
I decided that if I worked there I would dress up as Dory from Nemo that way I could say funny things...Like I could ask people what they wanted in "whale" and every time I left the table I could sing "just keep swimming" AND I could hug on some old man and call him my squishy haha! I would so do it too, and how funny and awkward would my costume be!

We let Brielle wear her mermaid outfit and princess tiara.

She was super excited about her bubbly magic potion drink..

 and the balloon animal guy....

She wanted a unicorn or course....

and daddy really wanted a dachshund haha!

AHHHH the scary booth!  Landon totally looks like he has fangs here ha!
