Uptown Dallas

Since I really want my family to move to Dallas what better place to take Kasey to convince her but Uptown Dallas!  That's where it all happens and where all the cool people live who have no kids ha!

Even my little honey bear came along.  She loved watching the trolleys go by and had a good time until the waiter took her leftover pizza.
It's all fun and games till someone takes her food away!

Landon took Brielle home after dinner so us girls could have a night out.  It was so fun and everyone we talked to was so nice.  Mom even enjoyed the young boys complimenting her ha!

Real special these 3 are!

You can ignore the next couple comments, they're just dog talk...

Hey! you look reeeaaal nice!

Hey you tell me what you're thinkin about and I'll help you figure it out.

First Tuesday

The Dallas Museum of Art has an event called first Tuesday.  The first Tuesday of every month is kids day filled with crafts, shows, music and other fun FREE stuff!  Kasey and I took Brielle for the first time and she really enjoyed it.  They gave the kids a tour of the Museum but that was a little boring for her, she'd rather have been doing crafts.

The theme was Hispanic culture and birds.
First stop was jewelry making, you were supposed to create an animal piece you could wear out of aluminum foil.

My bird, Kasey's elephant and Brielle's mickey mouse haha!

What a beautiful necklace Kitty made for you!

My friend Jayme and her son Trevor also joined us.

Brielle especially loved the Hispanic dancers.   They did 3 different routines from 3 different countries.

Learning to dance a little.......

You should have heard us HOLA! When they busted out with the Colombian music!!!
We will definitely be going back!

Just because they light up my life..........

Shops At Legacy

While Kasey was here we did A LOT of shopping!!! I told her we need to find a new hobby like putt putt or bird watching that's not so expensive!
One place I wanted her to visit was The Shops At Legacy in Plano.  They have lots of little boutiques and eating places all along the street.

Kasey's nickname for Brielle is boo so she was thrilled when we saw this sign, Kasey not Brielle ha.

Look at that TUMMY! I just love it when she does that!

Me, Constance and Kasey

They were already putting up Christmas decor even though we still were 2 weeks away from Thanksgiving, I love Christmas time so I don't mind

We stopped and ate lunch on the patio at this place.  We had some amazing pizza!  The hostess handed us a lunch menu to order from, then the waiter told us he had a dinner menu and brought us that one instead.  Well the pizza was $4 more on that menu and not a bigger portion! What what a rip off,  I asked what time they switch to dinner and he said 4:00....well it was right at 4:00.  So what does frugal cheap Diana do...request the better price since that's the menu we were handed and it wasn't quite 4 when we got there. I mean come on, it was totally their bad.   I got the vibe that everyone was a little embarrassed to be sitting with me at that moment but we saved $12 on pizza that day, go me!

We arrived home to find 3 very lazy dogs.....

Mack so enjoyed having a backyard! He better get used to not since his mom wants to move him all the way to New York!

My Sisters In Town For 3 Weeks!!!!

My littlest sister Kasey came into town to stay with us for 3 weeks! I can't even begin to tell you how excited this makes me!   I secretly wish we all lived together again like when we were little!

We played Brielle's new game....

Not enough pieces so of course Brielle got the wonder pet.

We played with wigs, she's looks like Kris Jenner lol!

I was really excited to spend time with my nephews who are the sweetest in the whole world!

We took Kasey for a stroll through our mini forrest while she was here.  We even saw a snake!!!

And another Eskimo!!!
And of course we watched the election, it was quite fun at first but then not so much.  Oh well nothing to fret over!  We kept switching back and forth every 30 seconds between pinterest and a good election website we found.

More fun to come!
