Brielle's First Christmas Program

Brielle's first of many school Christmas parties! As a mom I just love being a part of this stuff!

All the mommies received a Christmas present....

With the most beautiful hand print ornament ever! I'm so in love with it! I need to buy a protective box to store it in.

Whats even more exciting than a school Christmas party is a Christmas program put on by little bitties!  My heart was just bursting with joy and pride and love watching her up there singing! Such a big girl. I love her so much!

Lita and Mimi came to watch.

What You Can Get Done When You Have The Time!

No sir, you must wait till Christmas!

Really the only thing I don't like about living here are the little creatures that share our home!  Ok so I normally like lizards and I'm not scared to hold a snake but I don't like wild ones! I don't like the element of surprise, or how fast they move and jump.  Gives me the heebie jeebies!  Every time I walk past a bush I can hear them rustling around in there. UGH!  I almost stepped on this little guy.  I had to get our pool net to catch him, I'm sure it would have been funny to watch and hear cause I was talking myself through the process the whole time. EEKK!

So little man has had a really good couple of weeks...He's got a bit of a schedule going and he's sleeping a little better.  Therefore he's in a better mood all day and the fact that he sleeps gives me time to get things done!  In one day I was able to do all our laundry, even wash our bed sheets and blankets, then I vacuumed and cleaned the pool, then we raked the patio to keep he leaves from going back in, then we washed the car and I made dinner.  Wow what you can get done when you have energy from sleep and a happy baby.  I felt very good about my accomplishments!

I'm loving the stage of wanting to be a helper!

We had two big ole piles of leaves and she insisted on picking this one up all by herself.

And was super proud that she could close the lid with no assistance from me.

She loved the car wash!

I mean look at how she's standing! Are we 15?

Brielle and I even had time to play some ball.  She had us drive our "cars" to the game....

The Fans....

The beautiful catcher...she loves that glove her dad bought her (probably because he has a glove and wants to be just like him) She always insists on being the catcher and could care less about hitting now ha.

Horse and Carriage

My mom and aunt were out shopping and called us to come join them because all the Christmas characters were out walking around the shops.  Every year Highland Village has carolers, Santa, elves and others walking around the mall for our entertainment.  (If you don't know Highland Village is a city North of Flower Mound...but we are practically all one city we are so close...there's literally a street that separates us)

This was the best! I've never seen carolers! It was beautiful.

Brielle had no idea who Mrs Clause was haha, apparently we've never mentioned her.

They also have free horse and carriage rides on the weekends.

We got our peppermint hot cocoas and hopped in.

My mother looks so beautiful here!

We have enjoyed all the activities around here for Christmas...we are gonna be bored when it's all over :)

Warm Weather, Finally!

Finally some beautiful weather after that nasty ice storm!

Brielle found the most giant leaves ever on our little walk.....

So mature

The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!!!

Real men have white fluffy dogs.

We are going to enjoy this week of warm weather!

Christmas Lights

My cuddle buddies....

Look who is sitting in the shopping cart without his car seat for the first time!
I'm so looking forward to not carrying that thing around anymore, I am loving this stage! The newborn infant stage is hard for me and I can't wait to get it over with...but now that we've hit 5 months and my favorite "6 months" is coming up...I just want to hit the pause button and stay here forever! The fun is starting to begin! I absolutely love the ages 6 months and on...it was rough getting here but we've almost made it!

My sweet beauty is such a helper....

Landon drove us around Highland Park to look at lights the other night, lets be honest, we just like looking at the amazing houses, lights? what lights.

Now that took a lot of money and effort!

Getting ready for bed after our night of light seeing.......

Those eyes haha....

Grapevine has a Christmas lights paraded...it was scheduled the night of the ice storm so it was rescheduled.  It was a beautiful night for it!  I stopped on the way and got us some pizza for dinner.

I decided it would b our tradition to all wear Christmas hats to the Flower Mound Christmas parade..but since Hason and I didn't go we wore them to this parade.

He was so incredibly good the whole time we were there...I think he was liking his cozy jacket from cousin Levi.

Beautiful...I love parades!
