7 Years Of Bliss!

My love of my life and I have been together 13 years now married 7!!! This year marks the year that our married years out number our dating years 7 to 6  : ) (did that make sense?)
We celebrated this by getting a hotel room in downtown Ft Worth.
We are elite members at the Marriott, don't really know why but I loved the coupon we got upon arrival  to one of our favs just across the street.

The hotel had a roof top pool.

7 of the best years of my life with this man.  I'm still so in love and so so blessed!

We ate at the famous Reata restaurant.

How cute was my heart shaped chicken.
We so didn't need dessert....

but Landon's a sucker for banana pudding!

Where's the service around here........

No smoking in front of the baby!

My favorite part about this restaurant is their roof top bar.

The bartender made me a fancy non alcoholic drink and didn't charge me for it.  He knows how to get a tip.

Sunday morning we got up early, ate some delish breakfast at Jakes and then hurried to make it to church because one of our favorite people ever...DAVE RAMSEY...was speaking! How cool is that!
We had also wanted to visit Gateway for a while so this was a good reason to go.
We also found out that Sunday that they will be having a special weekend of events July 18 - July 20 with the one and only Beth Moore and Christine Cane I believe and a couple others....sooo bummed...can you guess who's due on the 18th!!! Terrible timing people!

Wow, it was a good sermon full of convictions and hilariousness! He's good!

Brielle's First VBS (Repost)

I had received a flyer in the mail for VBS at a church in Grapevine a while back.  It never occurred to me that Brielle could go at this age.  Once I started looking into some churches closer to home I found one down the street that did take 3 year olds.  I was so excited but a little nervous to send her cause she is still so little, I didn't start till I was much older.  I was also afraid she would not do well going everyday for a week...the LAST thing I want is for her to hate going to church!

Everyday I'd pray that she would absolutely love it!
Their theme was standing strong for God.

While B was a VBS  I went and got a mani and pedi that Landon had bought me a while back!
Yes they are short...I grew them out longer but chewed them off during the last episode of the office! I couldn't handle it!

She seemed to like it and was excited about all the goodies they gave her.

Day 2!

As you can see she was still a little timid....

But to my delight had a blast and came out smiling and telling me all about Jesus!

Day 3!

There she goes running in!!! She hasn't talked so much about Jesus and God in one week as she has this week! NOTHING makes me happier, whatever they're teaching them is working : )

She was sooo proud of her mask she made for "The Beast" aka Dad.

And her curly twirly straw

and her new cross necklace.

How did B look so cute and he looks so mean in it!?

On the last day parents were invited to come and watch the kids the last 30 minutes of worship to see what all they had learned.  Brielle was all over the place dancing and doing the hand motions and even got on stage to perform a bit.
Nothing will make me feel more accomplished as a mom than her growing up and loving Jesus with all her heart, not her graduating from school or getting a great job or whatever it is this world measures success in.  I can't wait for the day when it is clear that her heart belongs to him and I know she won't be persuaded any other way...Only then will I let out a sigh of relief because I did my job.  When that day comes I will never be prouder or filled with more joy!

Cooks and The Zoo

Our poor little Nephew Levi was in the Hospital last week. Thank goodness for answered prayers and it not being something more serious.  He is home now and we can't wait to see him this weekend.

Brielle and I wanted to take him a gift to help him pass the time since the poor little thing was confined to his room the whole time.  I am way to pregnant to risk catching something which was probably highly unlikely but you never know and I didn't want a sick kid either with a baby coming so soon.  We asked for some masks to play it safe.  Everyone looked at us as if we were the contagious ones as we walked down the halls lol.

She'd make the cutest little nurse!

Too bad Levi couldn't come out of his room. Cooks is the cutest hospital I've ever seen. It totally caters to kids and feels so clean and bright and happy considering it's a hospital.  Even the inside of the elevator was cute!

We saw some therapy dogs that day.

This was so looks like a fish tank but was a digital one in the wall...totally looked real.

After we dropped off the gift I took b to the Zoo.  It was half off day which made me feel better about only staying an hour and a half... it was hot and my pregnant self couldn't handle much more than that.

I have to try really hard to remember where I park when Landon isn't with me.  I always take a picture cause it's not unlikely for me to completely forget.  I would be lost in this life without that man!

I think the gorilla wanted her banana haha.

The flamingos stink mom!  Yeah...almost gagged this prego girl!

I LOVE hippos!
Brielle called him a hippo-mo-potamus : )

Cute little BUM!

Sweet day with my sweet girl.
