Brielle's toys

Brielle has really started taking more interest in her toys especially her stuffed animals and babies.


Violet, this is the cutest toy because it you can program it to say your child's name, favorite food, favorite song and color. Brielle is finally old enough now that she has started interacting with it and copying things it says.

Brielle got these blocks last year from her Aunt Kaytie. She has really taken an interest in them lately (funny the things they choose to like when they do)She enjoys building "towers" and "bridges" she says. I hear from teachers that this type of pattern she is putting together in the picture below has something to do with math, whatever it is it's something smart she is doing ha!

Have ya'll met bubba, He is one of the first stuffed animals Brielle has really loved, she sleeps with him at night. My cousin Gineth gave him to Brielle before she was born so I love him too cause it reminds me of her.

Needless to say Bubba has endured some abuse, apparently Brielle likes to pull his hair out of the top of his head at night with her teeth! Poor Bubba!

Had to throw this picture in there, everything's a moment around here! Our first band aid. Brielle went through a clumsy streak where she was tripping and falling all the time, she tore open her knee twice in one week, it was pretty bad bless her heart!

She likes us to wrap her up in a blanket, call her baby and just rock her, I just eat this up cause she doesn't let me cuddle her very often.

Kardashian party

So my family is pretty much obsessed with the Kardashians, I love their clothes, hair, makeup, nail polish(I always watch to see what color their nails are painted and then I go buy the same one haha)! They make me laugh and remind me a lot of my family! I love how silly they can get and not even care!

I think the Kardashians, Jessica Simpson(the skinnier one, she's kinda let herself go now a days) and Rachel Zoe are the best dressed people in the world so I try to copy them as much as possible!


We had a Kardashian wedding night at my house, poor Trent was such a good sport hanging out with all of us (he was totally bored though ha)

Natalie and Trent brought us all back gifts from Italy! So super thoughtful of them!
I got a delicious bottle of Italian red wine!

Brielle was thrilled with her gift! I can't wait for her birthday! Having a kid is like getting to relive your own childhood all over again! I just love watching her get all excited about stuff!

You know, if everyone except one person looks good in the picture why should I not post it. Not my fault he fell asleep! haha!

We received a special package in the mail this week. Cousin Levi (and aunt Emily & uncle Trent)sent Brielle balloons to use at her Birthday party, a super cute kit with a notepad, stickers and other cute stuff with owls on it(I'm keeping that for myself!), some adorable skinny jeans and super cute top...look a the ruffles on the sleeves!

And best of all Levi's one year birthday invite! I can't believe he is one! Let the fun begin! (Isn't this a clever picture, too cute!)

Look what somebody decide to do during her nap yesterday! Can you tell everything is soaked!!! Good thing Gigi bought her some new pj's this past weekend that snaps in the crotch, that's what she's wearing from now on!

On a cuter note, Brielle has started putting her little hand up to her face or against her cheek when she points at something. It's just the cutest thing ever to Landon and I and I'm soooo thrilled I caught a picture of it!

Part Two Hook'em Horns!

After all the football excitetment we went by SMU to find our sorority and fraternity houses. I don't think they have Sigma Nu's but we did find Chi Omega, don't know if you know this but it's the biggest women's organization in the United States so naturally any big college is going to have us!

We decided this is where Brielle is going to go and live so we need donations from the grandparents asap! haha!

I got to mark one of my items off my bucket list as well this weekend......


I had no idea they had such a big menu with soooo many different types of food to choose from!

Heaven right there, apple, cinnamon, caramel!

Landon got the Hersheys cheesecake, just a whole lot of chocolate!



We ended the night at a little bar...I loved it because there was no smoking (come on Amarillo and pass this law!) and they allowed dogs! Landon wants this in his backyard someday

We made it home and it was time to pick up this cutie from Gannpa and Gigi (they don't normally wear matching clothes, these are their bowling league shirts in case you were wondering)

Oh how I missed this girl, she looks so big after 2 days!

Sisters happy to be back together!



After we got home from Dallas I get a suspicious phone call from my mom asking us to come over...I thought my grandpa who is in Colombia had flown into town. Well when I get there it's only my aunt, uncle and cousin sasha, weird that they would be there and when I walked in I said "this is it?" haha they were like "we aren't enough!?"

Well, about 5 minutes later my cousin Natalie peaks her head around the corner and I just scream out "is that Natalie!" "Is that NATALIE!" (she's been working in Italy) I can't see very good even though my eye prescription isn't bad and it doesn't help that we all look so much alike we even get mixed up sometimes (the boys have been know to have patted the wrong girls behind from time to time HA!).....I thought it might have been Kasey I was seeing! Nope it was Natalie! She surprised us all and will be in town till the end of November, that means she gets to spend Brielle's Birthday, Halloween, and Thanksgiving with us!!!!!!

Oh and Critter aka Trent was back too! Here's little B with her aunt and uncle!

Finally, we made it home and got to snuggle a bit. Little b was upset and didn't want to go to her own bed. Even though she had a blast with her grandparents she didn't want us leaving her sight once we got home. (yup that's a bottle, every once and a while I'll bust it out when she's upset and needs something warm to drink to soothe her, you can't drink out of a straw laying down now can you)


I'm so glad to be home but sad that Landon has to go back to work! I love spending all my time with him, he's my bestest friend and after a long weekend together I literally get sick to my stomach about not getting to be with him all day.
