4th of July 2012

I love the 4th of July!  My favorite holiday other than Christmas!  I love our country but there's just something about feeling that feeling along with everybody else on the same day!  I love all the outside activities, cookouts, independence day songs!  I feel extremely blessed to live here and I'm thankful for all those who have served and are serving our great country!  God bless America!

Landon's cousin just moved to Kiowa Lake which is only about an hour away from us!  We are thrilled to have them so close.  Emily just had baby Chloe 2 weeks ago but somehow she still wanted to have company and a full day of events, they invited us to spend the day with them.  She is super mom I swear!

Brielle's festive shirt...an owl of course!

She was excited to see Levi and just kept saying " I want to go see my Levi"

They don't have much need for cars at the lake and Brielle thought it was the coolest thing to drive around in a golf cart all day!

They had a parade that morning.........an all golf cart parade of course.

Proud daddy with his little girl

Emily and I, don't know how she does so much with a newborn.  She needs to teach me a thing or two!

I just love holidays with my family!

All the kiddos! Emily's nephew were so hilarious and act so grown up.
Those two had a lot to say about sports!

We ate dinner right on the lake and they had live music all day.
The performers were old timey but so cute!

My sweet little Chloe....She never leaves the house without her bow! That's my kind of girl!

The boys and Brielle wanted to take a swim, it was pretty hot out.

I loved spending time with Chloe....all my friends either have boys or blonde little girls.  But Chloe being a girl and dark headed reminded me so much of Brielle.  She even makes the same sound B did as a newborn, I love those noises!  I don't know how Trent and Emily got so lucky but they ended up with two easy babies!!!  I just loved her...gave me baby fever for sure!

We were all exhausted when we got home....they guys put a movie on for the kids...or so they say cause the kids lost interest real quick.  Trent takes his blankie everywhere lol

So this is what Landon and Trent watched all afternoon haha.

I'm not the only one who got baby fever!

This is their golf course view from their backyard!  It was so beautiful out there!

Trent teaching the kids some baseball skills

Brielle looks like a pretty good pitcher.....look at that form!

They had an awesome fireworks display...we didn't know what to expect from such a small lake but it was so good.......they had 5 I tell ya 5! grand finales throughout the entire fireworks show!!!
 Hows that for some fireworks!!!
It was a blessed day getting to spend time with the ones we love!
