Good Music and Food Kinda Weekend

We didn't have any formal plans this weekend.  I love weekends like that.  We were able to relax and have some family time.  Friday night we headed to Frisco.  Every Friday through August they have a different band come and play on the square. People are able to gather round in lawn chairs or sit in on the grass and enjoy the music.  It was a perfect night, not too hot and no wind!

We stopped and got some food so we could have a picnic.

Dreamsicle Dimples Cupcake!

Brielle hardly ate her sandwich....she took off running without hesitation to play with the bigger kids who were playing ball.  She's growing on up!

My friend Melodie and her family met us there.

Landon and Andrew

Grayson and Trevor

Saturday we went to Taste of Dallas.  Pretty much a fair with out the rides and more food!  We got to sample a lot of different stuff.  My favorite was the Sweet Factory!

Brielle got to meet Biscuit!  She look terrified here but she was super excited to see him!

Curious George!

Checking things out before she makes the plunge.

While Landon watch B jump I went around the corner to the animal section! I was in puppy heaven!!!

They even had a little winky as I like to call them.  She was the sweetest little Rott. Miss my Dozer!

I just had to get a picture of Landon's outfit.  He's not very fashion forward so a pair of plaid shorts it a huge deal!  I thought he looked sooooo cute in this plaid shorts and white shirt with a pop of color with his hat! He even got a compliment from a man....I just had to laugh cause of course he gets a compliment when I pick out his clothes!

One of the things we sampled were pickles.  I can't even begin to tell you how delicious these were!!! (I snacked on them the whole way home) The pickles tasted like they had been marinated in spicy chicken noodle soup.  We bought a jar of pickles and some marinade for steaks.....$25!  They saw us comin!!
