Meet the Teacher and a Tea Party!

It's school time again.  The weeks leading up to this year were a little hard on me because Brielle would be in school 5 days a week.  Last year they did an evaluation and decided she was not being challenged enough in her 3/4 year old class and thought it would be beneficial for her to skip their pre-k program and go into their private Kindergarten program.  She's a smart cookie and we agreed.  So this year she is in "Kindergarten"  but will go to Kindergarten again next year at a public school. UGH the thought of public school scares me!  I've got a lot of teacher friends who don't want to send their own kids to public school....when a public school teacher doesn't want their kids in the schools that's a big problem.  Now this was back in Amarillo but I'm assuming private school is the way to go anywhere.  Too bad it costs so dang much.

Meet the teacher.  After speaking with her teachers I feel so much better about her going all week.  They are amazing and I love their teaching style.  It's the end of an era for her and I, spending the days  at home in our pj's.  So incredibly sad.  This snuck up quick.

After meet the teacher we headed to one of our favorite places ever.... Lets Pretend Tea Parties.  We started the tradition last year of having a mother daughter day there before school starts.  We love it there!

This super sparkly dress was the winner.

Gettin her nails did....

B loves a good tea party.  She loves going to my moms cause she knows Lita is always down for a tea party!

Before we left we read pinkalicious a couple of times

Love my little beauty, I can't believe how big she is.  She's such a sweet little thing and very considerate and caring of others.  But what I wouldn't give to have her back at 6 months old and do it again.
