Brielle's First VBS (Repost)

I had received a flyer in the mail for VBS at a church in Grapevine a while back.  It never occurred to me that Brielle could go at this age.  Once I started looking into some churches closer to home I found one down the street that did take 3 year olds.  I was so excited but a little nervous to send her cause she is still so little, I didn't start till I was much older.  I was also afraid she would not do well going everyday for a week...the LAST thing I want is for her to hate going to church!

Everyday I'd pray that she would absolutely love it!
Their theme was standing strong for God.

While B was a VBS  I went and got a mani and pedi that Landon had bought me a while back!
Yes they are short...I grew them out longer but chewed them off during the last episode of the office! I couldn't handle it!

She seemed to like it and was excited about all the goodies they gave her.

Day 2!

As you can see she was still a little timid....

But to my delight had a blast and came out smiling and telling me all about Jesus!

Day 3!

There she goes running in!!! She hasn't talked so much about Jesus and God in one week as she has this week! NOTHING makes me happier, whatever they're teaching them is working : )

She was sooo proud of her mask she made for "The Beast" aka Dad.

And her curly twirly straw

and her new cross necklace.

How did B look so cute and he looks so mean in it!?

On the last day parents were invited to come and watch the kids the last 30 minutes of worship to see what all they had learned.  Brielle was all over the place dancing and doing the hand motions and even got on stage to perform a bit.

Nothing will make me feel more accomplished as a mom than her growing up and loving Jesus with all her heart, not her graduating from school or getting a great job or whatever it is this world measures success in.  I can't wait for the day when it is clear that her heart belongs to him and I know she won't be persuaded any other way...Only then will I let out a sigh of relief because I did my job.  When that day comes I will never be prouder or filled with more joy!
